I know that I haven't posted in a long time, but I'm back.
I just wrote a lot about my wife painting our kitchen and how much work that it was for me and how much of my time that it took up. HP was downloading updates and I lost the whole mess.
If they spent half as much time designing and making printers as they do on other updates, they could make a printer that was worth a **** .
I lived by myself for 8 years and didn't have to paint or move anything except to clean. My place was always neat and well arranged and clean. My philosophy is "if it aint broke, don't fix it". Women don't know about this philosophy. Believe it or not, I'm a neat freak.
I've also been trying to raise the Google rank of one of my websites by writing worthwhile articles and getting meaningful reciprocal links. I feel real positive about what I've accomplished so far.
We love to hear from all of our Cyber friends.
Please keep JBWritergirl and her father in your thoughts and prayers.
Sincerely,
C. Oxford

(sorry for my english!!!)
:)
I decided to visit all my friends today rather than trying to write funny.
Your post brought a tear to my eye, that you should think about me and my dad. I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
This is my second go round at papa's. My real dad died about six years ago and although I didn't think it would affect me much (because we were estranged) it hit me like a brick in the head. Probably not for what we had but for what could have been if things had been different.
This papa made a significant dent in my life. He was the first man to hold me close to him so that I could always say what was on my mind. He always came to my aid no matter what, always made sure I had five bucks on me and always made sure I was safe. My favorite thing was (he was a big rig driver most of his life) he and I agreed to a horn signal. He from his big rig and me from my far too fast mustang. If we ever saw each other on the road it was a hoot and honk hello. (He was gone mostly every week and home on the weekends). Sometimes we would even meet at one of those sleezy little truck stops and catch a bite together. That used to up his status because he would be seen with what he always called 'a sweet young thing'. We had some very special times together and I will so very much miss him.
Thank you C.
JB
